We do not take bookings for visa, immigration or citizenship matters.

Passport

10-year validity passport (for persons aged 18 and over) - 5-page form

This appointment is for an adult applying for an Australian passport using the 5-page overseas passport application form.

You MUST book an appointment for each application.

Choose this option if:
• you are applying for your first adult passport.
• you are replacing a lost, stolen, damaged passport
• replacing a Limited Validity (1 year passport) or
• your most recent passport was issued before 1 January 2006.

The turnaround time for a full validity passport is of at least six weeks. If you have an urgent need to travel and your passport is expired or has been lost or stolen, please email us at consular.saopaulo@austrade.gov.au

Incomplete or incorrectly completed applications cannot be accepted. Application requirements are determined by Australian legislation and Australian Passport Office policy, and these requirements cannot be waived by Passport staff.

10-year validity passport (for persons aged 18 and over) – 1-page form

This appointment is for an adult applying for an Australian passport using the 1-page overseas passport application form.

You MUST book an appointment for each application.

You are eligible if:
• you are an adult (18 years and older) who has a passport that was issued when you were aged 16 or older;
• it was issued on or after 1 January 2006; had, when it was issued, at least two years’ validity;
• has your current name, date of birth, place of birth and gender; and has not been reported lost, stolen, or cancelled.

Certificate of No Impediment to Marriage

If you need a Single Status Certificate proving that the Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages (RBDM) hold no record of current marriage in your state or territory, please contact the RBDM of your state or territory.

If you need a declaration of No Impediment to Marriage (CNI), it can be issued at the Consulate General in Sao Paulo, and the declaration is in English.

Please confirm with the requesting authority if a declaration of No Impediment to Marriage (CNI) is accepted.
